Ethos

At Darwin College our priority is to deliver high quality teaching and learning experiences for our children. We do everything to ensure that the children achieve their very best and we are aware that children get only one chance at their primary education and we will ensure that they reach the highest in personal achievements and development.

 

We believe that every child has to reach for success from the very first day they join us and throughout their school lives, so that when they leave us they have a love for learning for the rest of their lives.

 

At Darwin College, we will strive to provide a secure and stimulating environment which is conducive for children to reach their full potential. We will regard and respect every child’s experiences that she/he brings to school and use this as a foundation to improve standards. Provide opportunities to develop self – confidence and a positive self-image as well as encourage children to become good citizens and to develop caring attitudes and to respect themselves other children, adults, their school and their community.

We will cultivate a supportive culture in which all staff members are encouraged to extend, develop and share their expertise. A broad, well balanced and relevant curriculum will be provided for the child’s development.

 

We will encourage each child to take responsibility for his/her behavior and to act as good citizens and role models to others.
